Warrior Golf Club wraps around the scenic 52-acre Lake Wright. The course is centrally located between Charlotte and Greensboro with easy access to and from I-77 and I-85. The golf course stretches across gently rolling terrain sprinkled with beautiful cypress trees. The greens are all fairly large in size but they are each uniquely designed to offer multiple pin placements that will challenge even the most avid golfers. The course has a nice mix of holes with a few reachable par 5s and some tricky par 3s. The massive lake comes into play on a few holes, most notably on the par-3 16th where it almost completely surrounds the subtly sloped green. It’s not an overly formidable golf course, but you’ll definitely get the chance to use every club in your bag at Warrior G.C.

Great golf course.I drive from Winston Salem to play this course and enjoy it every time. I played last weekend and the greens were fantastic. Went to the restaurant and got a smeltc-pronounced smeltic-sausage, mayo, egg, lettuce, tomato and cheese and it was unbelievable. The bloody mary is great also.

Greens are full of mole damage and tee boxes are damaged to the point you are now hitting off mats. Felt like I was on the driving range. Don't get me started about the range. Take my $59 some place else. I hear Rolling is in pretty good shape. Sand feels more like concrete than sand. Course full of leaves so not well maintained. Don't have anymore to say about this dump. Course is more suited for night time golf so you can't see the ugliness of the course.

The Warrior Golf Club is a great course and an excellent value. The layout is nice in that it challenges all aspects of your game. There are some good scoring holes and also some very challenging holes. Hole #7 will sometimes make you wonder why you play golf in the first place, until you drain a birdie putt on it. We play a lot of courses in the Charlotte metro and year after year The Warrior has some of, if not the, best greens around. The course is always nice but the greens really standout above the rest. There are very few houses and none of them are even close to being in play. It is a nice spread out track so you never feel crowded. The cart paths are very smooth concrete and the carts are really nice Club Cars. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. In the Charlotte area it is hard to beat the overall value of The Warrior. With the great views around Lake Wright and quiet rural setting, The Warrior not only provides a great round of golf but also a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. I recommend The Warrior to all players who have yet to try it. It's a short 30 minutes north of Charlotte.

Excellent course design that can be enjoyed by all handicap levels, very well maintained, courteous and assistive staff, priced competitively. Our group has found the course to be an excellent value. We recommend it to our friends without reservation.
