By far the tightest course at Pinehurst, No. 3 is snugly enveloped with woods and water. A two-iron hit straight here is far better than a driver sprayed. The greens are small, putting even more premium on accuracy, and the ridges and hollows around them resemble those on No. 2 more than any other Pinehurst course.
