Much improved lately. The ongoing repairs to the cart paths to this point have been sufficient enough to make them comparable to other courses in the area as far as getting around the course. Although they still look a little rough, they ride remarkably smooth and the need to keep in eye on the path itself is pretty much gone.

The course conditions themselves made for an enjoyable round of golf. The fairways are near flawless and the greens just as good or better than most courses within 50 miles of Jacksonville.

With the course not crowded by homes on all sides like a lot of courses in the area, losing golf balls is practically impossible unless they find a water hazard and having to hunt for stray golf balls a non-issue on the pace of play.

All in all Silver Creek is well worth the green fees.

Since the new groundskeeper has been hired this course has gone from one star minus to 4. You still have to avoid the cart paths due to the roots, but the greens and fairways are almost perfect. Well worth the cost of the green fee to play and retry.
