Fox Den Country Club tumbles through scenic, wooded hills that are dotted with ponds and streams. The club is located next to Lake Norman, surrounded by the waterfalls of Third Creek. It is the ideal landscape for a round of golf, offering not only challenging natural features but also idyllic scenery. In addition to the diverse landscape, the golf course offers a variety of fairways that range from narrow and tree-lined to generous and player friendly. Strategically placed bunkers protect the fast greens and water comes into play on a few holes. Fox Den Country Club's front nine provides a gentle start before moving to the more difficult back nine where there are many tight holes. The golf course is challenging but playable with four sets of tees that are varied enough to accommodate a range of skill levels.
