The Golf Club at Eagle Creek in Moyock was designed with all players in mind. At just over 6,700 yards from the back tees, the course is not overly long but there are several holes that provide some length. Formerly known as Mill Run, the course underwent renovations and a name change under new ownership. The golf course is wide open, which means wind will definitely come into play during your round and there are also several water holes. The course has a links feel without any of the harsh links penalties. Instead, golfers will find that the landing areas are quite generous, offering a little room for error. Four different sets of tees make the golf course even more approachable for a wide range of skill levels. Another appealing aspect of the Golf Club at Eagle Creek is the fact that it's conveniently located less than an hour from Kitty Hawk and the OBX beaches.

- Very good value for the priceVery friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant has excellent food and good beer selection. Course is well maintained and great for family golfing. My grandkids were very welcomed here. The staff is very supportive of, in their words, the "next generation of champions."Play each time I visit the OBX. It is well worth the ride of over an hour. Even considering the rain this year, it was in good shape. Nice layout.Course in great condition considering recent rain. Wide open spaces yet still challenging for beginner and ace alike.All the hard work that the groundskeepers have been doing is starting to pay off. Course is much improved over the past few years. Everybody is very friendly. The Grill puts out good food.
What a great place !! golf course looking better every day , grill and its staff are the best .While the new owners are clearly committed to great service, the course itself is not yet something special. Greens are not fully restored and are VERY slow. Fairways, rough & tees are decent but are well below competition in Virginia Beach or the Outer Banks and there are only 7 sand bunkers none of which are being maintained. So, lakes and creeks are the main challenge since trees are rare. They are so nice, everyone wishes them well. But, for now, this is a course best visited by locals and their kids until the challenge and the conditions improve.Great place to play friendly folks, good cold beer.
Greens had short grass, fairways had a little longer grass, rough had the longest grass of all. The traps were very sandy and the water hazards were wet. Golf carts carried myself and my clubs around nicely. Food at this course was fit for human concumption. I may go again if the hag of a woman I am married to allows it. Putting green was nice but confusing, there were many holes cut out and I had no idea which one to aim at. Beer is good.Great place to come and enjoy yourself, and eat some amazing food.
