Ironclad Golf and Beer Garden (formerly known as Belvedere Golf & Country Club), with its elevated greens and tree-lined fairways, is a traditional gem designed by Russell Burney. The holes at Ironclad Golf and Beer Garden are naturally routed through the woods, and osprey, grey heron, and Canadian geese can be seen with regularity. Ironclad Golf and Beer Garden is not a long golf course, but it plays tough from the tips. Nos. 3 and No. 8 are considered the golf course's signature holes.

We golfed Belvedere several times this year, and found the following. Our first visit the greens were brown and bumpy but other wise was a pleasant atmosphere. We retuned six weeks later and found much improvement on the greens and golfed a decent game that day. Our next three visits the greens and the entire course was in excellent condition. Our hats off to the entire maintenance staff. Very friendly atmosphere and not over priced. Highly recomended

Greens are awful. I play here several times each year and have always loved the course. Not this year. There are no greens, only browns, dirts and bumps. Avoid for a few months, but since we're early in the hot part of the year, I cannot imagine any puttable surfaces for many months. May2014
