I first played this course in 2008 and never went back because of the shape it was in. I have recently plaved it, 31 May 2017 and was very impressed with the shape it is in now. I went and thanked the Head Grounds Keeper. He is a young guy but has put Stryker and Ryder in perfect shape. Now I will play them as much as possible and the price is right!

Great golf course with rolling fairways, tall pines lining the fairways and white sand traps. Medium to fast greens with easy to chip ruff. People inside where very friendly and we even received a shout out and clap from the grounds keepers when we hit a shot close to the hole on one green. This is a nice hidden golf course in Fayettevile, NC.

Since July of 2014 the golf course has been with a new superintendant. His crew has improved the course by leaps and bounds! The greens are much better and the overall condition of the course has improved. This course gets a lot of play from all ranges of golfers. So with that said I think the Staff there has done a Tremendous job improving the golf course.

one word: Horrible. I left this placed before I finished my round. Driving range is ok, putting green has three available holes, and sand traps are okay. That's it for the positives. Tee boxes are setup 5-10 feet wide with divots everywhere. Fairways are not defined well and if you are not in the center off the tee you will be dropping due to the jungle called the rough. Greens are okay at best, but most are complete garbage. I was wet by sprinklers on 3 greens and 1 tee box (at 9am), skipped 3 holes due to walking foursomes that would not allow a single rider to play through. Skipped 2 more holes due to ground workers. Note to club manager: Don't cut the 18th green and fairway at the same time as the 17th green and fairway while watering the 14-16th greens. Ridiculous guys, absolutely ridiculous. There are no perks or potential perks that will ever get me to give this place another try. Avoid at all costs.
